The Third National Survey on Technology Abuse and Domestic Violence

In 2025, WESNET with the assistance of Dr Delanie Woodlock and researchers from Curtin University and University of New South Wales, repeated the national survey of domestic and family violence practitioners. Looking back to our first survey in 2015, and second one in 2020, we can observe dramatic shifts in some areas and limited movement in others, enabling us to trace changes alongside policy development, funding priorities, and legislative impacts. The findings of our 2025 Third National Survey of Technology Abuse and Domestic Violence in Australia offer a unique opportunity to track technology-facilitated abuse (TFA) as technology evolves.
