International Conference Organiser SCHADS Level 7 - WFH
WESNET is seeking a talented person with extensive events expertise to drive our success in hosting the Fifth World Conference of Women's Shelters to be held for the first time in the global south. Conferences are attended by around 1000 people from over 100 countries and, running over four days, are complex and significant events. We need someone who is especially skilled at project management from the preliminary through to more advanced planning stages, including risk analysis and sponsorship management. We also need exceptional engagement and stakeholder skills, to build support for the conference across the community. This is a major opportunity for the right person to showcase their skills for an ethical and internationally significant cause.

As a valued member of a small and supportive team, you’ll make a real difference to women experiencing domestic and family violence as well as influence policy at a national level. The ideal candidate will have a passion for assisting women and children to live free from technology-facilitated abuse within the context of DFV through empowerment and education so that they may continue to use technology safely and with renewed confidence.
